Coach Katrin fell in love with running 6 years ago and has since successfully participated in numerous marathons and shorter distance races; more recently she picked up road cycling and started competing in multisport events. While working as a public-school teacher and college instructor, Katrin began working part-time at Fleet Feet Greensboro/High Point where she started coaching. This year she left behind her teaching career to focus on managing Crazy Running Greensboro. Katrin is a certified USATF coach, worked as a Unified Athletics Coach and won county championships as a middle school track & field head coach. In her spare time, Katrin enjoys spending time outside with her dog, travelling and volunteering for Piedmont Wildlife Rehab.
Chy’na is excited to share her love for running with our Crazy Running kids. She ran track in high school and continues running while working on her degree in kinesiology at UNCG. Aside from running, she enjoys cooking, reading, the company of her friends and traveling. Fun facts: she was born in Germany, loves movies and quoting them! Her biggest accomplishments include being accepted into the kinesiology program and sticking to the running and workout program she created for herself.
Anna is excited to join the Crazy Running coaching team this spring. She has been running for fifteen years but it really turned into her passion when her oldest son Jackson was 3. She has become quite accomplished since, qualifying for the Boston Marathon and finishing first at the New River Marathon in 2019 (WOW!!!). Anna doesn’t let life’s curveballs keep her down and running helps her cope with stress. Aside from running, she teaches Sunday school, cross trains at the YMCA, and spends time with her husband August and sons Asher and Jackson. She also works for Trivium Racing. Fun fact: Anna was born in Russia!
