We teach the fundamentals using structured practices, form drills, running specific exercises, and running specific plyometrics. We believe in teaching kids to run correctly, being challenged aerobically each practice, and having fun with running games designed to bring out the competitive spirit.

This fun yet challenging training program will prepare 8 year olds & under to compete in the Mile and 9 year olds & above to compete in the 5k. We will focus on goal setting and determination as we train to compete in this fun day of racing!

  • Will Triplett – Owner | Retired Chief Petty Officer
  • Gerald Anderson – Chief Operations Officer | Retired Chief Petty Officer

Together, they bring decades of leadership, mentorship, and coaching experience to Crazy Running. Their military backgrounds instilled a commitment to discipline, teamwork, and service—values they now use to inspire the next generation of runners.

Our Story

Our journey began with coaching youth athletes and helping individuals prepare for physical readiness and athletic competition. Along the way, we discovered that running offers so much more than improved fitness—it builds confidence, resilience, discipline, and lifelong healthy habits.

Today, Crazy Running Hampton Roads is committed to creating fun, encouraging, and challenging programs where every child can grow, regardless of experience or ability. Whether a young athlete is preparing for track and field, improving overall fitness, or simply discovering a love for running, our coaches are dedicated to helping each participant reach their potential.

We believe that investing in the health and confidence of young athletes creates stronger families, healthier communities, and a lifelong appreciation for an active lifestyle.
